Epiphany Worship Service

                                   January 6, 2019

                           9:00 a.m.    &  10:30 a.m.

January 6, which marks the end of the Christmas season or Christmastide.   In the Western churches, Epiphany Day has marked the observance of the arrival of the wise men. In the earliest Christian traditions, maintained by the Eastern churches, the day began a period that celebrated the incarnation and baptism of Christ.

The liturgical color for Epiphany Day is white.

CRETE UMC WORSHIP SERVICES AND IN CHURCH GATHERINGS SUSPENDED UNTIL till August 16th

Crete UMC Worship Services are scheduled to resume on Sunday,

August 16th.

Our first priority remains keeping one another safe. We care deeply for you, and remain committed to doing all we can for each other’s safety and health. To that end, I’m offering a word of caution, that the August 16th date should be treated as preliminary. We will keep assessing the situation as time marches on and will inform you immediately should any changes be made to this schedule.

The in-person ministries of the church will also resume on August 16, 2020. Our Boy Scouts and support groups will be able to meet in the church, following CDC guidelines. However, our Before and After School Program and Enduring Strings Program will be closed until further notice.

New in-Person Worship times beginning August 16th are

Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

and

Wednesday Evenings at

7:00 p.m.
