SYMPTOMS AND DIAGNOSIS OF DIABETES

Type I diabetes usually has obvious symptoms but Type II diabetes often has few or no symptoms.  Because of this, thousands of people with Type II diabetes are not being diagnosed.

Type I diabetes usually occurs abruptly, within weeks or days. 

Type I diabetes includes many of symptoms:

* frequent urination

* extreme thirst

* weight loss

* blurred vision

* fatigue

* irritability

Symptoms of Type II diabetes develop more gradually than Type I, though many of the symptoms are the same.  They may include:

*frequent Urination

*extreme thirst

*fatigue

*infections

*tingling or numbness in the feet and hands

*poor healing

*blurred vision
