Ministry is people service.

A Christian servant is someone who puts himself or herself at God’s disposal for the benefit of others and for the stewardship of God’s world. Christian service, commonly called ministry, accords with God’s purposes for people and the world and has the touch of God, often unknown to the servant. Christian service makes no distinction between the sacred and the secular.

Crete United Methodist Church is called to be a Christ-centered, teaching and learning community dedicated to reaching out to all in a spirit of caring and sharing, a community where growth in Christ inspires us to be a joyful, sharing people and reach out to all, regardless of denomination, that we can help.
