Homebound Visits
Our Homebound Visitation Mission
The right to care about our homebound members flows from our responsibility as one of God's Christian Family. We have a responsibility to care based on the needs of people. All of us at Crete UMC want and need the loving fellowship of our church family even if we can't get to church on Sunday.
What are the needs of the homebound? Mostly, just to have someone to talk to, someone to listen, and someone to care. In general, people deserve the loving care of fellow Christians. God calls some of the most caring and compassionate to nuture those who may need it most: the homebound and nursing home residents.
Communion for the HomboundWe also offer the Sacrament of Communion to those of our church family that are unable to attend church services.
For more information on our Homebound Mission, please call the church office at (708) 672-8353 or email us at office@creteumc.org
