A Historic Church for a New Millennium
Your First VisitGETTING TO THE CHURCH Crete United Methodist Church is located at 1321 Main Street - the northeast corner of Main Street and Exchange at the stoplight. For a map, click here WHERE DO I PARK? Our major parking lot is directly in front of the church facing south with an easy entrance/exit from Exchange Street. HOW SHOULD I DRESS? While some folks like to wear their 'Sunday Best', many wear casual and comfortable clothing on Sunday morning. You will see suits and dresses, as well as blue jeans and tennis shoes, and everything in between, at both our traditional and contemporary services. Come as you are on the ouside - it's the inside God looks upon. DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING? If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. If not, don't worry about it. We have pew racks that contain the 2 song books that we most commonly use and a Bible. WHEN SHOULD I GET THERE? Sunday morning services begin at 9:00am and 10:30am. Please come a few minutes early and join with others in the narthex for coffee and donuts before, between and after all services. WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN? All children and youth are welcome in every service! If you would prefer, a nursery is available at each service from childbirth through age three. For older children, please check out Children's Ministry for Sunday School and other programs. Everyone is welcome to worship with us, to participate in the sacrement of communion, to join us in embracing and embodying the diversity of God's faith and love.
