AA MeetingS.T.I.R. GROUPAlcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from Alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. We are self supporting through our own contributions.AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, political party, organization or institution; and does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses or opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and to help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.By group conscience; Spiritual Themes in Recovery (S.T.I.R.) meeting format will include tough concepts of spirituality and a Higher Power. It is our hope that we can move in a positive spiritual direction to renew our minds from fear to trust, self pity to gratitude, and from dishonesty to integrity.Meeting times are Sunday evenings @ 7:00pm in the CUMC church parlor. This is a CLOSED meeting. For more information, please email office@creteumc.org or call the church office at (708) 672-8353. |
